Begonia ‘Pink Legacy’ is a striking collector begonia known for its vivid pink-red foliage, deep green undertones, and bold raised pink markings across each leaf. The leaves have an elongated, pointed shape with dramatic veining and textured edges, giving the plant a highly decorative, jewel-toned appearance.
This variety has a cane-style growth habit, meaning it will grow upright on stems over time rather than staying low and compact like many rhizomatous begonias. As it matures, it can develop a fuller, branching shape with the right light, humidity, and regular care.
Begonia ‘Pink Legacy’ does best in bright, indirect light, where its color can stay vibrant without the leaves burning. It prefers consistent moisture, but the roots should never sit wet. A loose, airy begonia mix works best — something that holds light moisture while still draining quickly.
This begonia thrives in 60%+ humidity, but it can be slowly acclimated to 45%+ humidity if kept in stable conditions. For best results, avoid sudden drops in humidity, cold drafts, or overly dry air. New growth may be more delicate during acclimation, so give the plant time to adjust before repotting or changing its environment.

Shipping / Acclimation Note
Live begonias can be sensitive during shipping. It is common for begonias to lose leaves and flowers in transit or shortly after arrival due to shipping stress. This does not necessarily mean the plant is unhealthy.
Unpack promptly, keep the plant warm, and place it in a stable, humid environment while it adjusts. Avoid immediate repotting unless necessary. Allow the plant to acclimate before moving it into lower household humidity.
