Jolly Lemon Fittonia

Fittonia ‘Jolly Lemon’ is a compact, brightly patterned variety of nerve plant, admired for its lemon-yellow veins running across soft green leaves. The bold veining creates a vibrant contrast, making this a standout choice for terrariums, dish gardens, or as a cheerful accent plant indoors. Its low-growing, spreading habit allows it to form a dense mat of foliage over time.

This variety stays relatively small, usually under 6 inches tall, but spreads wider as it matures. It thrives in bright, indirect light but will also adapt to lower light conditions, making it an excellent plant for desktops, shelves, and terrariums.

Fittonia prefers consistently moist soil and higher humidity, which helps prevent leaf edges from drying out. Use a well-draining potting mix that retains some moisture, and water when the surface of the soil just begins to dry. Regular misting or the use of a humidity tray will keep the foliage looking fresh. Fertilize lightly during the growing season for the strongest color and growth.
