Phalaenopsis “Mao Ting Fairy” is an uncommon hybrid Phalaenopsis that has not been registered as a grex, making it a distinctive addition to any collection. The flowers open in soft peach to apricot shades, contrasted by a vivid magenta lip that draws the eye to the center of the bloom. Petals and sepals often show faint striping, giving the blossoms extra texture and depth. Medium in size, the flowers typically measure around three and a half to four inches across, carried on sturdy spikes that can hold several blooms at once.
