Philodendron Red Congo Variegated is a rare form of the popular self-heading Red Congo, distinguished by its striking patches of creamy white and pale green variegation across deep red-tinted leaves and stems. The contrast between the bold variegation and the plant’s naturally rich red coloration gives it a dramatic, tropical look that stands out in any collection.

This philodendron grows upright in a clumping, rosette form rather than vining, keeping a compact footprint as it matures. New leaves emerge with a reddish hue before unfolding into glossy foliage patterned with unique variegation, making every plant one of a kind. Over time, it can develop into a medium to large indoor specimen with dense, colorful foliage.

For care, provide bright, indirect light to encourage strong variegation, as lower light will produce more solid green leaves. Use a chunky, well-draining soil mix, and water when the top inch of soil feels dry.
