Philodendron White Princess is a rare climbing philodendron admired for its striking leaves splashed with crisp white variegation. Unlike many other philodendrons, the variegation can appear as bold white streaks, mottling, or even full sectors, making every leaf unique. New growth often shows strong contrast, and with maturity, the plant develops into an elegant vining specimen.
This variety thrives in bright, indirect light, which helps maintain its white coloration, while too little light may cause the plant to revert to greener growth. It prefers a chunky, well-draining soil mix that retains some moisture, and watering should be done when the top inch of soil begins to dry. Regular feeding during the growing season supports steady growth, and higher humidity helps reduce browning on the white areas of the leaves.
As a climbing philodendron, White Princess benefits from support such as a moss pole or trellis, encouraging larger leaves and stronger variegation as it matures. With the right care, it can become a centerpiece in any collection, combining bold contrast and graceful growth.
All of our plants are propagated and tissue cultured here in the USA in our home lab, ensuring clean, healthy, and carefully grown specimens.
