Pink Forest Flame Fittonia

Fittonia ‘Pink Forest Flame’ is a vibrant nerve plant variety with rich green leaves highlighted by bold pink veining that resembles glowing embers running through the foliage. The contrast between the deep leaf color and the bright pink veins makes this cultivar especially eye-catching in terrariums, dish gardens, or as a colorful accent plant indoors. Its naturally low, creeping growth habit allows it to spread into a dense mat over time.

This variety stays compact, usually under 6 inches tall, but will spread wider as it matures. It thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light settings, though the pink coloration is most vivid with consistent light.

For care, keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy, using a light, well-draining mix that still retains some moisture. Fittonia prefer higher humidity, which helps prevent leaf edges from drying and keeps the colors vibrant. Regular misting or use of a humidity tray will encourage lush growth. Fertilize lightly during the growing season for the healthiest foliage.
